To aid institutions with their readiness plans, CSC can leverage technological expertise and corporate partnerships to maximize student and community safety in every step of the plan. Below, we have outlined how our services can help ensure compliance with government mandates.

  • iCent will be sending students daily push notifications to fill out the ArriveCAN app each day during their 14 days.
  • Then, iCent will collect confirmation that students have filled out the ArriveCAN app through the daily check-in form
  • iCent representatives will call and send emails to students to ensure their safety and needs are met. Additionally, the representatives will ask for confirmation regarding students filling out the ArriveCAN app
  • Institutions will be informed instantly regarding students who are experiencing symptoms or are irregular in completing the daily check-in form via the app.
  • Protocols and mechanisms for students and their family members to notify the DLI representative or their host designate if they develop symptoms and require medical care, including COVID-19 testing.
  • Protocols for implementing COVID-19 testing, arranged for by the DLI, of all students who have entered Canada prior to the start of their studies on day 14 of their quarantine, as well as at any point during quarantine for symptomatic individuals
  • Where testing will not take place in the same site as the quarantine, plans must provide full details of transportation to and from the testing site provided by the DLI that include provision of non-medical masks, any other personal protective equipment, social distancing, and protocols for limiting any unnecessary contact with any other person while outside of quarantine for testing purposes
